What are Buscopan® Cramps's contraindications?
Hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis and megacolon, as well as mechanical obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract or paralytic or obstructed ileus, intolerance or indigestion of some sugars (tablet contains sucrose). Do not take product if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
How long does it take for Buscopan® Cramps to start working?
Buscopan® Cramps starts working within 15 minutes of taking it.
Who can take Buscopan® Cramps?
Children over 6 years old and adults. Do not take Buscopan® Cramps if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant or are breast-feeding.
What is Buscopan® Cramps for?
Buscopan® Cramps helps relieve abdominal pain caused by cramps, thanks to the active ingredient that directly targets the source of pain, relaxing the muscles in the gut and reducing cramps.
What is the maximum dose of Buscopan® Cramps?
Children 6 - 12 years: 1 tablet three times daily.
Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets four times daily.
For the symptomatic relief of IBS, the recommended starting dose is 1 tablet three times daily, this can be increased up to 2 tablets four times daily if necessary. Should not be taken continuously for more than 2 weeks.
How should I store Buscopan® Cramps?
Do not store above 25°C. Keep in the original packaging. Keep out of the sight and reach of children
How should I take Buscopan® Cramps?
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Where can I find Buscopan® Cramps?
In drug stores such as pharmacy, Boots or Superdrug. Buscopan Cramps is available behind the counter upon pharmacist recommendation.
When is the best time to take Buscopan® Cramps?
Buscopan® Cramps should not be taken on a continuous daily basis or for extended periods of time without investigating the cause of abdominal pain.
